Have you ever received an event flyer with a QR code and wondered how to scan it on your phone? You don't have to bring it up on your computer, then scan it; there is a way to do it right from your cell phone.
Now it depends on whether the QR code is in the body of the email or is an attachment. I will tell you how to do it for both options.
The QR code is in the body of the email:
Hold your finger down on the QR code, and you will receive a pop-up option.

Click on the last option 'Open......'

It will automatically open the website the QR code directs you to in Safari.
The QR code is in an email attachment

Zoom in until the QR code is almost taking up your entire phone screen, and take a screenshot (click the power and top volume buttons at the same time).

At the bottom of the screen, you'll find an option to view the QR code's intended action. Click on it (ex, pci.jotform.com).
