Need to clear out emails quickly?

Earlier this week, I finally got tired of the 45,000+ emails I had in my account. I knew most of them were old (from 2014-2022) newsletters I subscribed to that I needed to delete. There is a quick way to do this, of course, after unsubscribing. I give the steps below.
(FYI: The instructions are for Gmail but should cross over to any email platform.)
Double-click on the email to open it up.

Highlight the ending part of the email address of the 'From'. Include the '@' and everything after it, but don't include the '>' symbol. Copy the highlighted area by either:
Right-clicking and choosing 'Copy' or
Use the keyboard shortcut - PC: Ctrl & C / Mac: Control & C

Go to the top of the screen to the 'Search' box and paste the email address there. Paste by either:
Right-clicking and choosing 'Paste' or
Use the keyboard shortcut - PC: Ctrl & V / Mac: Control & V

All emails ending with the pasted email address will be listed. Click the box that selects all the emails.

Once that is done, you can click the trash can to delete all of them. Continue steps 4 & 5 until all the emails have been deleted.

Now continue this with any other newsletters or email addresses you want to delete that end with the exact verbiage.
Now, there may be times when you need to highlight the entire email address, the information before the '@' and after. That option has to be used sometimes.
Guess what my emails are down to at the end of the week?
10,447!
Now, remember this is my business email address that I have been using since 2011. My next steps are to go through all these emails and archive the ones I have handled.
