iPhone Tip: Reply to a text when the convo has moved on

This can happen in a group text or one-on-one texts....the conversation changes subject and you still want to comment or reply to a previous topic. It could get lost if you decide to send a reply without context. There is a feature Messenger has that makes it easy not to lose that context.

Note: This only works with iMessage or conversations with someone else with an iPhone/Apple device.

There are two options to do this.

Option 1

1. Go to the message you want to reply to and pull that text bubble to the right.

2. It will pop up just showing the bubble of text you want to reply to. In the area where you write your part of the text, it will say 'Reply'.

Option 2

1. Hold down on the bubble of text you want to reply to.

2. When this screen appears, look at the box that appears with numerous options and choose 'Reply'.

3. The bubble of text you wanted to reply to will appear, and you can 'Reply' now.
