The adventure of taking Mai to her first concert, Blackpink (a K-Pop girl group).

So, how did I manage to complete 10,000 steps in 5 hours, you ask?
We arrived in Chicago on Friday afternoon. I'm glad I had already booked our Uber to the concert venue, or no telling how long we would have waited. It was only supposed to take 7 minutes to get the location. Due to traffic, it took 40 minutes. Once we arrived at about 7:45 p.m., we saw an extremely long line. Come to find out that you are only allowed to take in clear bags. We joined the line, which had about 100 people ahead of us. An hour later, we finally got a locker for my purse. We already missed about 40 minutes of the concert. There were at least another 200-250 people still in line. I hope they got to see it. We rushed to find the gate we needed to go in. We made a stop and bought a t-shirt.
Once we got into our gate, we started up the ramps. We found out that we had to go up 8 ramps to reach the 4th level. Of course, once I reached the top of the last ramp....I see the elevator! Then it was time to find our section. After doing that, we had to get to our row. Come to find out, we were in the nosebleed row, the one next to the last one at the top! We had to go up 36 rows. OMG, those steps went forever! After three pit stops, realizing how out of shape I was, I finally made it to our row.

We watched the concert and decided to leave a little early so we could potentially get an Uber (about 10:15 p.m.). Uber started off saying $25. Uber finally provided us with a driver, but then, five minutes later, they had to find another one for some reason. This happened 4 times. The fourth time, the rate had gone up to $56. That person I thought would be the one who would get us, but in the 30 minutes we were waiting on him, the traffic didn't move at all, so Uber decided to try to find us another driver. I decided to cancel Uber and walk back to the hotel. It was only 30 minutes away. Not knowing which way to really go (the Maps app on the phone wasn't very clear), we decided to ask one of the police officers. He said that we should walk about 2 blocks away and get an Uber. He showed us what direction to go.

We had to walk up this overpass walkway to get over the L-Train tracks. After walking one block, we came across a bunch of police officers. We asked again if we were going in the correct direction, and he said yes. About 2 more streets in, someone asked out loud if anyone needed an Uber. I couldn't reply fast enough! It cost us $60 to get back to the hotel. Mai was a little hesitant about the driver, but I told her we would be fine. Well, I spoke too soon. This driver wanted to be a race car driver. He was bobbing in and out of traffic, punching the gas and jamming on his brakes. I was praying that we would get back to the hotel safely. I couldn't get out of his car fast enough.
